Unfortunately, even Ramya Krishna's charm cannot save this movie.

After a series of flops, Naga Chaitanya banks heavily on his latest comedy drama "Sailaja Reddy Alludu" directed by the commercial man Maruti who comes up with interesting plots for his movies. Let's see if he does any good to Chaitanya.
Chaitu (Naga Chaitanya) is the son of an egoistic businessman Mr. Rao (Murali Sharma), a person who doesn't care for anything other than his ego. Anu ( Anu Emmanuel) is an arts student and an egoistic daughter of Sailaja Reddy ( Ramya Krishna). Saila Reddy is head of a village in Telangana and never tolerates a woman getting hurt by a man. Anu and Chaitu fall in love under some weird sequences and get engaged owing to the ego of Rao(Chaitu's dad) without the consent of Sailaja Reddy. How does Chaitu and Anu convince Sailaja Reddy for their marriage forms the rest of the story.
Naga Chaitanya has probably his best look in this movie compared to all his previous flicks. He has toned up real nice body for this movie. But the problem lies within his artificial acting as always although he does perform better in a few scenes. Half of his dialogues have no lip sync in the movie which is irritating. Anu Emmanuel is a complete misfit for this movie. She shows her pale acting once again just like she did in Agnyaatavasi. Ramya Krishna is perfect for Sailaja Reddy character and delivers her best. Vennela Kishore as Chari gave some good laughs in the first half. Prudhvi as Maanikyam was hilarious whenever he came on screen. Murali Sharma has over acted extremely in all the scenes more than what is demanded by his character. All the other characters are passable.
Sailaja Reddy Alludu's problem is that it cannot be seen as a comedy entertainer since there is only limited comedy and it can neither be seen as a family drama because there isn't a single scene where you actually feel the emotion. Both Naga Chaitanya and Anu Emmanuel seem to be complete misfits for their characters. There is no chemistry between the two of them.
The entire first half revolves around the love story between Anu and Chaitu with some silly sequences. They kiss each other one second and in the next scene they seem to be fighting. Thank god there is Vennela Kishore to provide some breathing space. The conflict point arises at the end of first half which marks the entrance of Sailaja Reddy into the movie.
The second half has the mother-daughter drama and why they don't directly talk to each other. When shown in the same frame, Ramya Krishna completely dominates Anu Emmanuel and even looks charming and younger than Anu. Unfortunately, even her charm cannot save the movie. There is no connection or emotion in the movie which can appeal the audience.
The music of the movie was below average and there is inconsistent background score throughout the movie. The narration is uninteresting. The cinematography and production values were good. Few fight sequences were impressive. Naga Chaitanya worked real hard on his dance moves. On a whole, this movie is definitely not worth your time or money. Having seen U-Turn in Kannada, I think that movie has enough content to impress the audience. I don't see anything in this movie to compete with U-Turn's content.
