The downside of the movie is that it peaks early and gets predictable in the second half.

Akhil Akkineni, who has already been launched to Tollywood twice is now testing his luck at the box office for the third time. This time he’s chosen another love track directed by the fresh-from-a-hit(Tholiprema) director Venky Atluri. Let’s dive in and see what this duo has come up with.
Vicky (Akhil) is a masters student in wellington university London where Nikki (Nidhi Agerwal) is also a student and finds out that Vicky is a playboy and stays away from him. Destiny decides a different path and sets a match between Vicky’s sister and Nikki’s brother which makes them family members. Nikki observes Vicky’s family values in close corners during her brother’s wedding and falls in love with him. How does a playboy like Vicky react to the real love from Nikki and how would the relationship end marks the story of Mr.Majnu.
Akhil as Vicky finds his mojo as an actor with an interesting story. His acting in emotional scenes is good and so are his dance moves. He needs to work more on his fights. Nidhi Agerwal as Nikki gets an extended role unlike in Savyasachi and does well. Priyadarshi as Akhil’s friend does his job. Rao Ramesh as Akhil’s babai gets a good role and performs well. Hyper aadi as Piracy Pulla Rao brings a few laughs in the second half. Subba raju, Vidyu Raman, Naga babu and all other characters did their jobs.
The film starts on a completely boring note with all the girls in London praying for Akhil akkineni calling him a greek god. After a brief boredom, the director lands the hero and heroine in Hyderabad and brings in emotional values to the story which are good to watch. Along the way, Nikki gets attached to Vicky and falls for him. But Vicky doesn’t react to Nikki’s love and loses her.
Vicky realizes that he loves and misses Nikki and returns to London to win back the love of Nikki. After the impressive first half, the second half is way too predictable and gets boring after a certain point. The addition of Hyper Aadi is the only relief. The downside of the movie is that the plot is completely revealed by the end of the first half and there’s nothing new to expect in the second half.
The music in the movie by Thaman has been good, especially the BGM. The movies production values have been rich and the DOP is impressive. The direction and the storyline is similar to many other love story plots we’ve seen in the recent past. The dialogues in the movie needs a special mention. Overall, it’s not a movie worth making time for, but if you like movies with good family values this is a one time watch just for timepass.
