For the first time Sudheer babu becomes a producer in Tollywood and releases a movie without any promotion from Maheshbabu. Let’s see how this movie fares.
Karthik(Sudheer) is an IT manager who is a hitler for all his employees. Meghana (Nabha Natesh) is a part time short film actress and a student in an engineering college. Meghana acts as Karthik’s girlfriend Siri for the sake of Karthik’s father Naser. Eventually they develop a liking for each other and fall in love. But Karthik’s aspiration is to go and work in US and become successful and he feels Meghana as a distraction. So, he decides to part away from her. Will Karthik realize how important Meghana is in his life? How do they get together forms the rest of the story.
Sudheerbabu as Karthik has given a decent performance. But the show stealer would be undoubtedly Nabha as Meghana. Her character is as energetic as Haasini in Bommarillu and she does a great job. Nassar as Karthik’s father was his usual self. Varshini Sounderajan as Sathya, maradalu of Karthik has done a good job. The other characters didn’t have enough meat. But the lead pair was good enough to keep you engaged.
The movie starts on the lines of 100% love where the hero is a geek and doesn’t have any emotions for anything. But the real soul of the film is the heroine. Right from the first scene, the way she carried the energy throughout the film is amazing. She is a complete surprise factor in the movie.
Just like there is a Kushi reference in Happy, there is Srimanthudu reference in this movie which is outrageously funny. There are so many scenes in the movie which cracks you up. At the same time, there is enough emotion as well in the storyline. The second half of the movie is dragged too much.
The director did well in making a connection with the audience through humor but strictly speaking all the scenes in the movie were a mix of funny scenes in few good movies. The editing is neat. The fights weren’t impressive. The songs are just okay. The background score is good. The drawback of the film is that the story is predictable right from the start. It’s the scenes and the lead pair performances which make the movie a one time watch.
