Care of Kancharapalem is one more small movie making rounds since the trailer mainly because it is produced by Rana Daggubati. But without content, nothing can make a movie a commercial success. So, let's see how the movie fares.
Care of Kancharapalem is the compilation of a few very heartening love stories in their own realms. Each story has a different ending. It is an experience which is to be felt, not to be told.
All the characters in the movie did a fantastic job in making this movie a pleasant experience. There is no character in the movie who lets the story down.
Living in a land full of emotions, Telugu cinema is known for the emotion it brings out through its movies and this movie is on the correct side of the emotional pinnacle. The movie starts off with introducing 4 different set of lives based in Kancharapalem. All the 4 stories are portrayed parallelly much in the lines of Chandamama Kathalu or a Vedam.
From the small kid's love story in the government school with some cute encounters to the 49 year old and unmarried Raju's love story with a government officer, all the stories touch your heart. There is enough humor in the movie to tickle your nerves and it is not adjusted comedy. The humor flows with the story. The Godavari slang will steal your heart again. How much of it have we seen in Tollywood lately much like the Haryanvi/Punjabi slang we see in Bollywood.
The music of the movie was good and the background score was touching. The cinematography was commendable giving you the local feel of the Kancharapalem village. The screenplay was good and the editing of the movie was perfect. Credit to the director for sticking to the basics and not bringing in too much drama into each story. But the ending of each story gets a bit predictable in the second half and the graph is raised in the climax. The way movie ends is unexpected.
If you want to watch a movie where you want to sit back and relax over the weekend, this is your movie. The director keeps the movie simple and straight which is the beauty of the film. Go watch it and encourage the small films in Tollywood. The golden days are here.
