Much like the second tier heroes of Tollywood lately, Nithin is also on a flop streak and trying to find a good run at the box office. This time he teams up with the hit pair of Venky Kudumula and Rashmika who both scored a surprise hit with Chalo the last time they worked together. Rashmika has come a long way in TFI after starting with Chalo. Now, let’s see if Venky creates another laugh riot at the silver screen like he did before.

Bheeshma Organics is an organic farming company looking for the future CEO after it’s MD Bheeshma who’s looking to retire. It’s competing against a chemical farming company called Instant. Bheeshma (Nithin) is an aimless youth who is looking for a girlfriend and finds Chaitra (Rashmika) who is an employee of Bheeshma Organics. How does he impress Chaitra? What is the connection between Bheeshma and Bheeshma Organics? All these form the story of Bheeshma.
Nithin as Bheeshma looks good. He’s really impressive at pulling off these happy-go-lucky boy roles and does well here too. Nothing outstanding to perform for him. Rashmika as Chaitra gets a meaty role and she looks gorgeous. She has come a long way as an actor and it can clearly seen in the way she carries her character. She’s the lifeline for this movie. Ananth nag as Bheeshma is apt and does well. Jisshu Sengupta as Raghavan is extremely poor. Vennela Kishore as Parimal is really funny and the director used him in every possible way. Deva as Rashmika’s dad is his usual self. Brahmaji as JP brings in a few laughs. Other than that, there’s no notable performances.
The movie starts with the Singles anthem and a few forced comedy scenes with nothing new to offer. Seeing Rashmika’s face finally on screen after a very slow 20 minutes is a respite. 2 songs down, there’s literally nothing yet in the movie except for what’s shown in the trailer. Swara Sagar Mahathi’s music is ordinary. But the last 20 25 minutes are really good bringing the actual plot to the fore. The debate scene and the interval bang are impressive. Venky kudumula looks to be in his elements. It ends with a good bang laying a good platform for the second half.
The second half starts with some good fun scenes. What the director does well is to find a good balance in narrating the actual story with fun elements. Nithin’s office scenes are fun. The village fight is impressive. What lacks is basically the emotional depth in the movie. The Villain’s character lacks any meat. What works against the second half a little is also the runtime as it feels a little too dragged. But the climax comes good again.
Bheeshma does really well in parts and is ordinary in the other. Venky Kudumula sticks to his fun way of story telling in this movie as well but it lacks the emotional depth. Fun scenes are good but when a script like this requires emotion, he couldn’t live up to it. Music is okay and the cinematography is good. All in all, it is a fun one time watch.
